My wife and I were remodeling our kitchen and wanted a countertop that was not stone like everyone else has. We wanted a bump out without having a bracket to support it . I went to the local home improvement store to price a counter – $150.00/sq. ft. Didn’t want to pay that for wood planks glued together. Came home, wnet on the web and luckily found Wood Vendors. After talking to Pat about what I was looking for, he quickly sent me great photos of walnut slabs. Ultimately found the slab we liked but it was too thick so they were able to cut the extra 1″ off so that I was able to use it for cabinet doors. Shipping went smoothly with updates from start to finish. We certainely ended up with a one-of-a-kind counter.
