Beautiful walnut bartop from Tracy!
Pat — Hi. I meant to reach out yesterday. The slab arrived and we thought it was amazing! Today we trimmed it to a rectangle (keeping the off fall) and applied a coat of shellac to protect it until it’s time to use it. My husband (a carpenter and wood crazy guy) says it is the most magnificent piece of wood he’s ever worked on! Here are a couple photos of each side. “Pictures of the finished mantel and support beams inside the home and finished support beams for the main entry and the side porch are attached. -Tom U. “ We had the pleasure of helping Tom and Sheryl with the beams in their new house! They picked out Appalachian Hardwood beams in a hand-hewn texture. Tom and Sheryl added some stain and finish on to these beams to make them pop and last longer!
