Pat — Hi. I meant to reach out yesterday. The slab arrived and we thought it was amazing! Today we trimmed it to a rectangle (keeping the off fall) and applied a coat of shellac to protect it until it’s time to use it. My husband (a carpenter and wood crazy guy) says it is the most magnificent piece of wood he’s ever worked on! Here are a couple photos of each side. Quarter sawn zebrawood door
